SM+D were appointed as Design Consultant for a staff canteen located at Midfield terminal building at Abu Dhabi Airport.

The design is to cater a variety of food stalls and customer of different culture. With this SM+D adopted a very multi-cultural sensitive design approach which is neat ,clean and very contemporary in interior design. An accent of wood and black finish on a fully white background accentuated with a splash of appetizing hue on the furniture were laid out as a color palettes for the eatery. With a subtle introduction of beam like elements with metal framings and wooden battens as a feature wall elements to give that contemporary approach on the space.
